From our outfitting and consulting side, we’ve worked with TV & Film crew, Military Special Forces units, Arctic and Antarctic expedition teams, Photographers and many more.
We have been in business since 2011 and have kitted out people for everything from Antarctic trips to a walk on the South Downs.
We are a team of experienced, polar oriented, outdoor adventurers and enthusiasts. Along with Børge Ousland we provide expertise, guidance and coaching, and we will team up with you in small teams to face challenges in amazing areas of our planet. The philosophy is to stick to the Norwegian Polar way of trying to prepare very well - or as we say: “80% of the project shall be finished before leaving home”.
And while out there, execute the expedition at the highest level of our abillity. This way you learn more, we get a huge satisfaction and together we have the greatest chance og reaching our common goal.
At Churchill River Canoe Outfitters (CRCO), we have been serving Northern Saskatchewan for 60 years, creating unforgettable experiences for those who seek adventure in the great outdoors. Our location in the boreal forest on the Canadian shield ensures that each canoe route offered is both challenging and awe-inspiring - all designed to give you a genuine wilderness experience.
Scott Kress and Angus Murray have been guiding together for decades. Beginning as Outward Bound Instructors, Scott and Angus have explored the world and have led groups to some of the most beautiful and demanding locations on the planet. Today they specialize in guiding groups across the famous Akshayuk pass in Auyuittuq National Park on Baffin Island in Canada's high Arctic. If you yearn for adventure and to see and explore places few people go, this is the spot for you. Besides crossing this amazingly beautiful land you will also have the opportunity to learn about and interact with the local Inuit who call this area home.
Polar Expedition Training founder and Guinness World Record holder Hannah McKeand has over 20 years of experience in the polar world. Hannah often, although not always leads the courses, however the syllabus is her creation and the world-class instructors work closely with her to deliver her vision.
